It isn't that these folks are misguided or just diverse in their opinions and ways of thinking. They are instead diliberately perverting true concepts and principles and skewing them.
I feel the need to call attention to this phenomena as I believe it will only grow as time grows nearer the Lord's return. Yes, I'm going there. I'm going there because, if you hadn't noticed, all things point to him and this time. If you don't believe that then scroll on.
All things will be revealed. That means everything. History, science, truth, lies, all things. So how then will so many be decieved in that time? Or will they all simply be wicked souls?
I leave that question to you. But let's assume that many will be decieved as scripture says. How? When all truth is revealed and available?
By the perversion of things.
An example of this can be seen in the long held belief and ideology of "patriarchy."
The fact is that western society IS built on a patriarchy. This is 100% true. If you don't understand this you are missing out on a lot of the Bible. Earth is under a patriarchy with God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit at the top.
Below the Godhead are the priesthood of His gospel- how you define that depends on your church- but the order of the priesthood falls upon men & patriarchs of home, family, communities, and the greater church of Christ. And it all falls upon men. It always has.
It is an evil ideology that perverts this patriarchy into a worldly order of men designed to oppress. It is not. It is the order of God. And it is designed to free us, to keep us engaged and creating, and to keep us responsible to one another, our wives & families & children.
But what has this perversion of God's order done to men? What has it done to women? You need look no further than the average western man & woman.
The average man is timid spiritually, he is weak willed, he is indecisive and unsure of his holy calling to lead and be the patriarch of his home.
The average woman is haughty and proud. She is taught to degrade men, to not be motherly, that chastity is weakness, that worldly success is powerful.
These views are both inversions of God's order. Of God's patriarchy. And for abiding these ideologies we suffer the fate of weak men and pridefull women.
The idea that men and women are "equal" is another nonsensical perversion of God's order.
Men have very specific duties designed by God that they must fulfill to be happy; to provide, to protect, to edify one another, to lead, to bless and administer, to speak on behalf of those who have not words themselves, to represent.
Likewise women have very specific duties designed by God that they must fulfill in order to be happy; to birth, to nurture, to follow, to edify the young, to steady their husbands, to beautify their surroundings, to love.
There are more. And how we fulfill these duties varies slightly from person to person.
In the case of the manosphere and pearly things: there are some among us who won't understand nuance.
For those people a man leading requires a woman being submissive. But a good leader doesn't have "submissive" subordinates, but instead has subordinates who lead from behind.
The difference is that of tyrany vs freedom.
Too many people are tyrants of their own lives because they live by perversion rather than by God's order.
Tyrants begat tyrants. This is true of all levels of society from the largest groups to the smallest families. But there is no room or allowance for tyrants in God's patriarchy. They simply can't sustain themselves when they answer to God's order & their duty under God.
All things will be revealed, but not all will understand them. Many will fall away in ignorance.
